Architectural Review Board

Chances are that when you decided to become a homeowner in the Country Walk subdivision you were not only purchasing a piece of real estate but also an environment and “neighborhood look”, so to speak. This image is the sum of each individual property. The Architectural Review Board (ARB) is the group tasked with maintaining our neighborhood’s image and ensuring that our Residential Planning Criteria is met.

Whenever an exterior addition and alteration is planned (even if replacing or repainting with same item), homeowners must submit a Request for Architectural Modification form (ARB Form). This form may be submitted electronically or via regular mail. Additionally, plans and specifications showing the nature, time, shape, height, materials and location of the addition or modification must be provided.

Projects that Require Review by the ARB

Exterior changes that require a Request for Modification include, but are not limited to:

Exterior paint color (even if same as existing color)
Planting beds and edging
Signs and mailboxes
Temporary structures
Removal of trees (planting of trees is exempt)
Gutters
Games and play structures
Swimming pools
Utility connections and TV antennas
Driveway construction
Window air conditioning units
Garbage and trash storage location

Please Note:

Installation or replanting of plants does not require ARB approval with the exception of tree removal.
If a tree removal is approved by the ARB, the grinding of the stump must also be accomplished.
If installing a planting bed area, a Request for Modification form is required.

Meeting Dates & Times

Architectural Review Board meetings are held monthly and coincide with the dates and times of Board of Directors' meetings.

Please remember to:

- - - Fill out the form with as much information as possible.
      - If you are painting, please submit five (5) physical paint swatches or color samples.
      - Submit a survey, map, picture or drawing indicating the location of the project.
      - Include any pictures or samples of the actual item you may be installing.
